“Flying through Life – From Fighter Pilot to Peace Activist”

Saturday, May 7, 2022, 2:00 pm, at Springfield Friends Meeting, 1001 Old Sproul Road. Doors open at 1:30 PM.

Richard Moody attended Britannia Royal Naval College and became a Naval Officer in the RN and later received his Wings with the RN. He flew as a pilot onboard RN aircraft carriers operating in the Far East and later flew with the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After further service including a two year aircraft carrier tour with the RN, he retired as a Lieutenant Commander. About 20 years ago, he became an ardent peace activist and joined the Coalition for Peace Action in Princeton, New Jersey and became a Quaker.

So how did this radical change come about? What is Richard doing now to live his faith in peace as opposed to war? Hear this from him, to learn more about these life-changing experiences.
